Fraud: We check all orders very carefully and do not ship orders until payment is cleared or authorized. Generally, we require all orders are shipped to the same address as that associated with the credit card. We also impose additional methods to prevent fraud with the latest technology available associated with online shopping. In addition, when you place an order your IP address, date, and time is collected. An IP address can be tracked to the computer used to place the order.

travelingchic.com uses industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect data and during transmission. SSL ensures that communication, personal information is not tampered with during transmission. SSL encrypts or scrambles any information sent from you making it virtually impossible to tamper with. The information is unreadable should anyone try to intercept it.

Returns/Refunds: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will happily accept a return within 14 days after you've received the item for a complete refund, less shipping cost. After 14 days, we will issue store credit for the returned item. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from receiving the item.  Before sending the return back to us you must contact Travelingchic.com by email or by telephone to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Returns must be in original packaging with tags still on, include the original sales receipt and include the Return Merchandise Authorization number.  Returns sent with no Return Merchandise Authorization number will be returned to the sender.  Returns can only be credited back to the original credit card used to make the original purchase. You will receive an email at the time the credit or exchange has been processed. Please note that you should always insure your package and get a tracking number before returning items.

Cancellation Policy:  Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged and/or shipped out.  In the event that a cancellation was submitted (via email or phone), and your order was shipped out after, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping.  However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will refund the merchandise total less shipping.

Warranty Policy:  We do not offer warrantees for the products we sell.

Sales Tax:  A sales tax of 6.5% will be charged to all orders shipped within Minnesota.

Shipping: We ship USPS ground (Parcel or First Class) which takes up to 6 days.  We also ship USPS priority mail (2-3 day) and Express Mail (overnight).  In stock items usually ship within 48 hours. If an item is out of stock we will email you to let you know when that item will be available to ship and what your options are.

International Shipping: Free shipping is not available for international orders.  The United States Postal Service requires us by law to list the price and the products that you paid for in the shipment.  You may be required by your country to pay local duties, taxes, and/or custom charges.  We are not responsible for these fees.  If delivery of a package is not accepted, or returned due to delivery failure, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for all shipping costs (outbound and inbound) that are incurred.  Express Mail usually takes 3-5 days for delivery and Priority Mail takes 6-10 days.


Special Offers:  Traveling Chic will occasionally offer special promotional discounts and offers.  To take advantage of special offers, discount codes must be entered during the check-out process.  If the code is not entered, the discount will not be applied. Discounts cannot be applied after the order is placed.
