End of Summer Bucket List

End-of-Summer-Beach

The temperatures are cooling off, the state fair is open, and Target has been a madhouse with kids buying back to school supplies. It can only mean one thing. The end of summer has arrived! I usually get pretty excited for fall at this point and don’t take advantage of these last days of warm weather. But when I saw the list below I decided to make it my mission to take full advantage of summer activities this weekend!

Here’s my plan:

  1. Sneak out early from work (shhh, don’t tell!) and take the scenic drive home with the windows down
  2. Read a book on a hammock
  3. Enjoy cocktails with friends on a patio
  4. Stop at the farmer’s market for flowers and food to make an al fresco dinner
  5. Watch the sunset and toast to the end of summer

And then it’s on to bonfires, apple orchards, fall foliage, crisp walks, pumpkin spice lattes, and sweater weather! See – there’s no need to be too sad about the end of summer!

Summer-Lights

Next week Mike and I are leaving for London and the South of France! We’ve rented a car for France so If any of you have suggestions on must-see towns to visit in Provence I’d love to hear!

Happy Travels!

Thanks, Pati! We were debating about St. Tropez and the French Riviera but instead we’re going to explore that area on another trip! This trip we’re scoping out the Provence area! Enjoy your spring in Argentina!

Sounds like a pretty perfect list to me, Jenny! I have checked a few of these off my list so far but intend to hit a couple more for Labor Day weekend with family visiting (lots of poolside fun!).
    Have a great week!
    xx, Heather
