Turkey Hat / Thankful Wine Glasses / Hocus Pocus / Boots / Sweater / The Nightingale
Time to dust off your boots and bust out your vests and sweaters… it’s finally fall!! Since Fall comes and goes so quickly, I like to create a list of things to do so I’m sure to take full advantage of this wonderful season. Here’s what’s on my list this year!
PUMPKIN SPICE & EVERYTHING NICE
This is a no-brainer, but pumpkin spice lattes are usually the first fall thing I make a point to enjoy. I also love to buy a couple new fall scented candles to make it more festive around the house!
TIME WITH FAMILY
With summer over, it seems as though everyone’s calendars open up. There are so many activities to enjoy with your family during this time, so it’s the perfect time to get something on the books! Whether it’s a trip to the apple orchard, a fall foliage walk, or a few toasts at a local Oktoberfest celebration, make time for some good old-fashioned family fun! How fun is the turkey leg hat for Thanksgiving?! I think I’ll be picking up one of those for the turkey carver to wear!:)
JACK O’LANTERNS & HOCUS POCUS
As it gets closer to Halloween, stop by the local pumpkin patch and pick out your perfect one. If you find carving pumpkins too messy or too much work, there are lots of fun ideas on Pinterest for decorating pumpkins. On Halloween I always make sure to watch Hocus Pocus as it truly gets me in the spirit.
BONFIRES & SWEATERS
There really isn’t anything better than sitting by a bonfire in the fall. Invite a few friends over for some autumnal beers and a backyard bonfire. The arrival of fall is also the perfect excuse for getting yourself a new pair of boots and a couple new sweaters!
GOOD BOOKS & SPIKED CIDER
A night in with a good book is the perfect recipe for a fall evening. Make it extra fun with a cup of spiked apple cider. Have you read The Nightingale? I’ve heard good things and I’m looking forward to reading it!
APPLE PICKING & SKILLET PIE
A trip to your nearest apple orchard is a must. I’m usually more about the treats – apple donuts, apply turnovers, apple muffins – rather than the apples themselves. However, I just saw this fun recipe for making apple pie on a skillet and I now have a reason to go round-up some apples!
What’s on your must-do list for Fall? I’d love to hear!!!
Check out my list from last year for more fall ideas!

Jenny
