The next stop on our tour of the Greek Isles was Mykonos. The party island. After spending a few serene days on Santorini, it took a little while to get into the groove of the island. But once we did we found all kinds of things to fall in love with.We arrived at our hotel and immediately set out to get lost in town. Literally. The streets are a complicated maze that were designed to confuse pirates (and tourists alike).
After a little shopping and a few wrong turns, it was time to explore the rest of the island. We calmed our nerves and took the keys to our new ride.
The island had plenty of beaches to explore. Some were secluded and others were jam packed with fellow sun-worshipers.
After a long day of exploring, we stopped here to try the infamous lobster pasta. And it was everything I dreamed it would be.
We followed our dinner with after dinner drinks and a seaside view.
Next on the itinerary was a quick stop in Athens before flying home.
We checked into our hotel, had a delicious breakfast, and headed out to find our walking tour. First stop, the Temple of Zeus.
And on to the changing of the guards.
It was finally time for the Acropolis! Let’s just say, a few other people had the same idea.
Once we made it to the top…
The views and the Parthenon were incredible.
We finished our tour with a swing through the museum and then it was off to the Plaka for dinner and a little shopping.
We had a romantic dinner for two.
With the slopes of the Acropolis as our view.
Happy Travels!!!

I got so lost on the streets of Mykonos on my last day that I almost missed my ferry back, so the confusing maze of streets is a real danger people lol
I know! It’s crazy! I think we walked in circles for a good half hour before we realized we’d passed the same restaurant 3 times! Glad you didn’t miss your ferry!
Mykonos was another fantastic Greek Isle! The lobster pasta was to die for.
Mykonos is one of the Greek islands to visit !! As you have done well, rent a motorcycle in Mykonos is essential !! Our island deserves a tour and can not be easily done without a vehicle! The hotels of our island are hospitable as well as the residents and provide the vip services of the island for this look very well before you book!
*** The Astacomacarone is my favorite recipe!
Athens is again the capital of Greece has many ancient monuments and the Acropolis Museum which you very well did and visited, and it is a winter destination- Summer! There are also a lot of transport facilities that can serve you!
What was the name of the restaurant you ate at in Athens?
Hi Celine! Unfortunately i don’t know the name! It was near the plaka, but I think you’ll find a lot of restaurants in that area with good views and ambiance!
