How to Pack for Dressy Nights on the Town

Hello! Or shall I say Ello (read with your best English accent)!

Last week I told you I’d be contributing to The Travel Hack blog over in the UK as a regular contributor here and today my first post on how to pack for dressy nights is live! You can check it out here.

I had a lot of fun trying to write this in British English instead of American English and I couldn’t help but think of this scene from Love Actually for every word that was different. I don’t know what it is that is so entertaining about the differences in our language, but it is! Am I alone in this? Two biggies I learned from this post are that color is spelled colour, a sweater is a jumper, and traveling is spelled travelling. So basically my blog URL name looks misspelled to everyone across the pond. 🙁

This post is all about packing clothes for dressing up without overpacking. Hopefully this will be helpful for some of you! I won’t point any fingers… you know who you are!

Since it’s boring to wear the same thing every night, the temptation to pack a lot of shoes, bags, and extra clothes is there. BUT, with a few tips and tricks, it’s possible, and pretty easy to pack light and still be stylish for your dressy nights on the town!

Head over to the Travel Hack to find out all of my tricks here! I’ll even give you a hint… it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Bye for now!
