What to Pack for San Francisco

San Francisco is my favorite city in the US, but no matter how much time I spend there it’s still one of the hardest cities to pack for. Known for its cool and sometimes rainy weather, one minute the sun is out and you’re hot in a t-shirt and the next minute the clouds have rolled in and you’re freezing. I swear, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve lived there, the only way to dress for the weather is to wear layers. A t-shirt, sweater, light jacket, and tote to hold everything in is an absolute necessity! In addition, there are a LOT of hills in San Francisco. Steep hills. If you plan to do a lot sightseeing by foot, I would skip the heels and bring comfortable shoes.

Have you been to San Francisco? What are your favorite things to do? I’d love to hear!

Happy Travels!
