I used to be a really good packer. When I was a flight attendant I had to be packed for every climate imaginable in one standard issue carry-on. You learn a few things about packing light with this sort of challenge. I was traveling so much that everything I needed to bring was either in my suitcase or in the laundry.
Lately something changed. I’ve turned into a last-minute packer who runs around the house at midnight trying to get her bag packed for a flight the next morning.
With that in mind, I set out to create the ultimate packing guide. I emailed Lindsay at White Oak Creative to have her set up a download feature on the site and help make the lists look stylish for you guys. I absolutely love how they turned out and I hope they will be useful for all of you!
I have two packing guides for you. The first is a comprehensive checklist with just about everything you could ever use on a trip. This can be your starting point to help you decide what to pack, or you can use it to run through everything you’ve already packed and make sure you don’t forget anything.
If you’re a seasoned packer, I have a blank list for you to write out your own packing list so that it can be personalized to your needs.
You can download both packing lists for FREE (Yipee!!) here.
*TIP – If you travel a lot, or even just a couple of times a year, you should think about designating a drawer or box to hold all of your travel things. I keep my passport, copies of important documents, all of my travel sized beauty products, and many other things in a “travel” drawer in my closet. Having a go-to spot for these things keeps me a little more organized and makes packing so much easier. Also, if you plan on reusing the packing guide you may want to consider printing it on cardstock so it holds up better.
I may revise these over time or create more lists for specific types of trips. Let me know if there is something you’d like to see or if there are items you wish were on the list.
Happy Travels!
