A road trip through England has been on my bucket list for some time now. I’d love to spend a week visiting seaside towns and staying in quaint cottages. Since we found ourselves with a sunny day and warm weather on our last day in London we decided to drive south for a hike at Seven Sisters Country Park and fish and chips in Brighton. At last, I could finally live out this dream (somewhat!). We woke up early and filled the car with four adults, one infant, and a chocolate lab in the boot (aka trunk).
I had never heard of Seven Sisters before this trip, but it was a gorgeous walk and is definitely worth a stop on the way down to Brighton. The grass was a vibrant green, the sun was shining, and sheep grazed lazily in the rolling hills. The hike was filled with happy Londoners with strollers and dogs, tourists with selfie sticks, and locals on their morning walk.

After about 30 minutes we came across a stone beach…
and a dramatic cliff side!
With a hearty walk under our belts it was time to head to Brighton to grab lunch before our flight.
With a few delays for diaper changes and drying off the dog, we only had a short time to stroll around, but it was a fun little town and perfect for a day trip from London!
Have you seen the the move Wimbledon with Kirsten Dunst and Paul Bettany? I’m pretty sure this promenade is featured in the movie!
Next up is France! Happy Travels!
