Weekend Reading + Hopped off the plane at L.A.X.

It’s Friday and it’s a long weekend! Hey-oh! Long weekends always seem to come when most needed, don’t you think? Mike and I are heading to sunny California today for a mini getaway! Anyone else taking a trip this weekend? I’ll be sure to come back with all sorts of great L.A. travel tips next week.

Here are a couple of fun things I’ve been enjoying around the web this week:

Harry Styles new album – I was a little too old for the One Direction hoopla, but I have to say I’m loving Harry’s new album! I swear you don’t have to be 13 to enjoy–it’s fantastic!

You already know I’m a big fan of James Corden, so loved seeing Harry’s Carpool Karaoke. So much fun!!

Speaking of good music, the Guardian’s of the Galaxy Vol. 2 soundtrack is great. The opening scene with Groot was so cute, but if you love Chris Pratt then you’ll agree that his opening dance scene from the first movie will always be the best! If this song can’t put you in a good mood, I don’t know what will!

Okay, so this Mom-so-hard video on swimsuits is pretty hilarious, but definitely a good message about body image and what you’re teaching your kids too!

If you have a few million dollars lying around, the Pride and Prejudice estate is for sale.

I love seeing positive stories about animals and tourism. This elephant sanctuary in Thailand is doing good things.

Your work day video as told by Tom Hanks. Can’t believe how young he looks in the Big scenes!

And most importantly, many thanks to our fallen heroes on Memorial Day and those that continue to serve our country every day.

Alrighty, that’s it for now. La La Land, here we come!

Happy Travels!

xo, Jenny
