Weekend Reading + Spring Cleaning!

Happy Weekend, Friends! The weather is finally getting nice around here, so I’m planning to spend as much time as possible outside! It’s also Mother’s day weekend, so don’t forget to give your Mom some love!

We’ve only got a few more weeks until Memorial weekend, which in my opinion is the unofficial start of summer. I haven’t done any sort of Spring cleaning/to-dos yet, so hopefully I’ll find a little motivation this weekend on that front! If nothing else, it’s time to switch out the winter clothes and bring on the sandals and dresses!

My favorite reads from around the web this week:

The most popular travel destinations on Pinterest

In the time you spend on social media each year, you could read 200 books!

I just love Melissa McCarthy, especially back in her Sookie days! She’s hosting SNL this weekend, so I’m looking forward to some good laughs!

The Anne of Green Gables adaptation on Netflix (Anne with an E) releases tomorrow!! Apparently it’s quite a bit grittier than the books, so I’m curious to see how it turned out.

I enjoyed Ashley’s write-up on “A Modern Flâneur in Paris.” There’s no better place to stroll than the streets of Paris! C‘est magnifique! I also love the Italian tradition of La Passeggiata where families take evening strolls to catch up with neighbors, flirt, and just be part of their community.

I’m heading to Los Angeles over Memorial Weekend! This travel guide on LA got me so excited! Let me know if you have any recommendations!:)

I’m a big fan of the podcast “How I built this” and really enjoyed this week’s interview with the Lonely Planet founders, Maureen & Tony Wheeler.

Great travel photography tips on the Travel Hack this week.

This little town in Italy wants to pay you to live there (where do I sign up?!!!)
